Bitcoin Options Open Interest Sets New Record on Deribit

Aggregate open interest across listed Bitcoin options on Deribit has climbed to a fresh record, according to exchange data. The build-up has been concentrated in longer-dated tenors, with a modest bias toward call structures.

CME-listed Bitcoin options continue to add depth as institutional participants seek exchange-traded exposure. The combined CME and Deribit market now offers a reasonably deep two-way market across the front six months.

Options desks report that end users have increasingly used overwriting and collar structures to manage exposure through periods of range-bound spot price action.
