Hong Kong Spot Crypto ETFs Continue to Attract Regional Flows
The city's spot Bitcoin and Ether ETFs have grown steadily since launch, cementing Hong Kong's role as a regional hub.

Spot Bitcoin and Ether ETFs listed on the Hong Kong Stock Exchange have continued to grow assets, with issuers including ChinaAMC, Bosera HashKey and Harvest Global reporting steady net inflows. The products use an in-kind creation model that differs from the cash-only structure used by their US counterparts.
Hong Kong regulators have positioned the city as a regional hub for licensed virtual asset trading platforms, with a growing list of firms authorised by the Securities and Futures Commission. Additional derivative and index products remain under review.
Cross-border access from mainland China continues to be restricted, though Stock Connect eligibility remains a long-running policy debate.
