Ethereum Client Diversity Report Shows Continued Progress

The share of Ethereum validators running Prysm on the consensus layer has continued to decline, according to the latest snapshots from ClientDiversity.org and Rated Network. The trend addresses one of the network's long-standing single-client risks.

Lighthouse, Teku and Nimbus have all gained share, while newer entrants such as Lodestar and Grandine remain in single-digit percentages. Execution-layer client diversity has also improved, with Nethermind and Besu chipping away at Geth's dominance.

The Ethereum Foundation has continued to publicly discourage the concentration of stake behind any single client and has funded diversity outreach programmes with major staking pools.
